Course Summary
This course is a fantastic choice for anybody who enjoys making coffee at home and wants to take their morning cup to the next level or anyone who’s sick of instant(or capsule) coffee and wants to learn about possible alternatives.
You’ll start the day with cupping (coffee tasting), where you’ll get to try a variety of different beans and discover the flavour diversity that coffee has to offer. Next, we'll walk you through a variety of slow brew methods including Aeropress, French press, Percolators, Syphons and Coldbrew. We will taste test each of the methods and discuss their individual strengths and use cases. Finally, we will give some pointers on how to ensure you are buying quality coffee.
During the 2 hours session, you will learn how variables such as water temperature, extraction time, grind size, and more can drastically affect the final taste of coffee.
If you would like to become a more conscientious coffee drinker, or want an in-depth lesson on home brewing, then this is the course for you!
As a parting gift, each participant will be sent home with a bag of freshly roasted coffee beans of their choice.
